Thank you for your interest in the University of Connecticut Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program.
The goal of our program is to provide fellows with a supportive and collegial environment to achieve academic and clinical excellence as a Hemtologist/Oncologist. Our goals include the development of clinical expertise through exposure to a diverse patient population during required and elective rotations, solid research experience with mentored research opportunities in clinical/translational research. With the Bioscience Connecticut initiative and the presence of Jackson Labs at our institution, resources for innovative research and educational opportunities continue to grow.
Requirements/Expectations: The program at the University of Connecticut is 3 years with board eligibility in both Hematology and Oncology.
Clinical rotations: The University of Connecticut Health Center belongs to a consortium of hospitals in the greater Hartford area. This includes John Dempsey Hospital (the University hospital), St Francis Hospital and Hartford Hospital. Faculty and clinical rotations exist at all three sites.
We invite you to review the rest of the website for specific
